Pleasanton, CA – On November 16, 2023, the City will launch a new citywide website designed to offer an improved and user-friendly experience for residents, visitors, and anyone looking to know more about what is going on in Pleasanton.

This update aligns with the City’s new 5-year strategic plan’s goal of optimizing our organization by leveraging technology for efficient and effective use by City staff and the public and will provide easy access to a wealth of information, services, and resources, all in one convenient online location. Users can look forward to enhanced navigation, a visually appealing design, and a responsive layout that adapts seamlessly to various devices, ensuring accessibility on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

Key features of the new website include:

  • Streamlined access to city services and departments
  • Up-to-date news and announcements
  • Interactive maps and a citizen feedback portal
  • A user-friendly search function
  • Accessibility requirements
“We are excited to present our new website to the community,” said Gerry Beaudin, Pleasanton City Manager. “This digital upgrade aligns with our commitment to transparency, accessibility, and the convenience of our residents and business owners. It will be a valuable resource for anyone engaging with the city.”
Some features may look different on the new website, including the way users access City Council meetings and agenda reports, but all features will still be available. In conjunction with the City’s website redesign, an integrated agenda management system allows for upcoming City Council, commission, and committee meeting agendas and agenda packets to be viewed in one convenient location from the website homepage.
The City invites everyone to explore the new website at www.cityofpleasantonca.gov starting November 16, 2023.
