On-Call Civil Engineering Firm to Provide General Civil Engineering Services

Description

The City of Pleasanton’s Engineering Department is currently seeking to retain a maximum of three (3) general civil engineering firms for on-call services. The term of the contract will be three (3) years (FY 2021-2024) with two optional one-year extensions with a not to exceed, aggregate total contract amount of $750,000. Anticipated services are for project design and construction activities, and may include but are not limited to: general consulting, peer review, land surveying, civil engineering, plan and subdivision map checking, Capital Improvement Program project design, engineering recommendations for emergency situations and other tasked associated with Public Works infrastructure design, construction, and/or operation as assigned and directed by the City Engineer. These services will provide support for engineering services for various City capital improvement and private land development related projects.

Request for Proposals for Professional Services Assistance for the preparation of the City of Pleasanton's Housing Element for 2023-2031 (6th RHNA Cycle) 

Description

The City of Pleasanton is seeking professional consultant services for the preparation of the Housing Element of the General Plan for the Housing Element Planning Period between January 31, 2023 – January 31, 2031 (6th RHNA Cycle) to achieve certification by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) no later than January, 2023. This RFP describes the project scope and key considerations, the anticipated public participation and community process necessary to achieve certification, the Consultant selection process, and a sample copy of the Standard Professional Services Agreement. Request for Qualification and Proposal (RFQ/P) Design , Supply and Installation of Replacement Play Apparatus for Tawny Village Hills and Ken Mercer Sports Park 

Description

The City of Pleasanton is seeking an experienced firm, team or manufacturer’s representative (a “firm”) to work with City staff to provide layout/design services and to supply and install new play apparatus for 3 different parks – the Tawny play areas for 2- to 5-year-old and 5- to 12-year-old children, the Vintage Hills play area for 5- to 12-year-old children and the swing apparatus, the Sports Park Phase 3 play area for 2- to 5-year-old children and the Sports Park Phase 1 play area for 2- to 5-year-old and 5- to 12-year-old children. See the attached PDF for site location maps, play apparatus photos, and playground area details. The budget for this project has been set at $600,000 total. Designs should assume approximately $350,000 will be spent on the various Sports Park playgrounds, $125,000 at Tawny Park, and $125,000 at Vintage Hills Park.

Request for Qualification (RFQ) for Geologic Hazard Abatement District Observation, GIS Mapping, and Recommendation Services 

Description

The City of Pleasanton’s Engineering Department is requesting qualifications proposals (RFQ) for geologic/geotechnical engineering Consultants to provide observation, GIS mapping, and recommendation services for four existing Geologic Hazard Abatement Districts (GHADs) within the community. The term of contract will be (4-1/2) years beginning on January 1, 2021, and extending until June 30, 2025. This RFQ describes the scope of services, the necessary components of the Statement of Qualification proposal, the Consultant selection process, and a sample copy of the Standard Professional Services Agreement. This RFQ also describes the required format for the submitted Statement of Qualifications.
