Augustin Bernal Mountain Bike Trail

Description

**In order to be an eligible bidder, interested parties must contact the city of Pleasanton to request to be added to the plan holder list. Please see Notice to Bidders in bid packet for more information.** This work will consist of construction of an approximately 0.7 mile long downhill-only mountain bike trail with various technical features and wayfinding signage, decommissioning approximately 20,000 square-feet of eroded and/or unsafe trail, plant establishment, and plant maintenance. The trail will connect the Augustin Bernal Community Park parking lot, located at 8200 Golden Eagle Way, through the Golden Eagle Homeowners Association property, to the southern portion of Augustin Bernal Community Park at the top of the Pleasanton Ridge. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $250,000. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on December 8, 2022, at 11 a.m at the park parking lot at 8200 Golden Eagle Way. All bidders must attend the meeting.

Lighting Improvements for the Railroad Parking Lot

Description

**In order to be an eligible bidder, interested parties must contact the city of Pleasanton to request to be added to the plan holder list. Please see Notice to Bidders in bid packet for more information.** The work will consist of installation of five decorated parking lot lights on a 14-foot-tall light pole with goose neck bracket and LED fixtures, construction of concrete pedestals 2 feet above ground including grounding, installation of six handholes, installation of one-and-one-half-inch conduits with electrical wires, and construction of 130 foot long, 8-foot-tall wood fence, addition of dust palliatives and compact parking lot, etc. at city parking lot west of 496 St. Mary Street and east of the Union Pacific Railroad. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $130,000.

Val Vista Underdrain Improvements

Description

**In order to be an eligible bidder, interested parties must contact the city of Pleasanton to request to be added to the plan holder list. Please see Notice to Bidders in bid packet for more information.** The work will consist of, but is not limited to: providing and installing approximately 290 linear feet of new 8-inch fusible HDPE gravity recycled water pipe by horizontal directional drill operations, 1,220 linear feet of new 8-inch gravity recycled water pipe by open trench, 14 new manhole structures, two recycled water package pump stations with electrical and process instrumentation systems, 630 linear feet of new 2-1/2-inch PVC recycled water force mains by open trench, on- and off-site rehabilitation of approximately 580 linear feet of existing 18-inch to 48-inch CMP storm drain pipe using Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner, and grout repair of two 21-inch CMP storm drain concrete outfalls in accordance with the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District Zone 7 encroachment permit, various related appurtenances, including traffic control, potholing operations, providing and implementing water pollution control measures, and landscape and site restoration for the Val Vista Park soccer fields underdrain system. The Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner, and grout repair work for storm drain outfalls shall be completed by October 15, 2023. Project is located at Val Vista Community Park at the southeasterly corner of Johnson Drive and Stoneridge Drive intersection. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $1.75 million. There will be no pre-bid meeting held for this project.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS for 25-Year Urban Forest Master Plan

Description The city of Pleasanton (City) is soliciting proposals from consulting firms to: • Develop a 25-year Urban Forest Master Plan (UFMP) • Perform a citywide tree inventory update The City intends to enter into an agreement with a qualified firm to provide consulting, document preparation, presentation, and public engagement support services. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) describes the City’s objectives and anticipated services, submittal requirements for the consultant’s Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and the consultant selection process.
