The City of Pleasanton Housing Division coordinates the development and maintenance of affordable rental and ownership housing in Pleasanton. The division is responsible for managing housing-related matters within the City, which includes administering various programs and services for low-income individuals and families, seniors and residents with disabilities.

NEWS & EVENTS
- The City of Pleasanton, in coordination with Avenue5 Residential, is opening the Waiting List for 1 Bedroom Below-Market-Rate (BMR) units at The Kensington Apartments located at 1552 E Gate Way in Pleasanton. The waiting list will be open for Pre-Applications beginning Wednesday, March 6 through Friday, March 15, 2024. Download and print the Pre-Application here, then submit it to The Kensington Apartments Leasing Office by mail or in-person.
- ECHO Housing offers a Rental Assistance Program for Alameda County residents with delinquent rent or security deposit due to a temporary financial setback. Call (510) 581-9380 for more information.
- The Alameda County Foreclosure Prevention Program (FPP) has recently expanded its eligibility guidelines to provide financial assistance to more Landlords and Homeowners in Alameda County who were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The application deadline is March 31, 2024, and grants of up to $75,000 are available. To learn more about the program, please visit the FPP online portal here.
