Gerry Beaudin

City Manager

Gerry currently serves as the City of Pleasanton’s City Manager. He has over two decades of public sector experience. Prior to his appointment as City Manager, he served as the Assistant City Manager with the City of Alameda. Over the course of his career, he has led major development projects, innovative public policy and program efforts, significant financial and operational reforms, and built high-functioning and resilient teams.

Gerry holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, as well as a Master of Science in Planning degree from the University of Toronto. He is a graduate of the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and the Senior Executive Institute at the University of Virginia’s Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service. He is also an ICMA Credentialed Manager (ICMA-CM) and is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
