What to expect today (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.):
• One lane of travel will remain open in each direction on First Street
• The right lane from First Street to Neal Street (Meadowlark Dairy) will be closed
• Neal Street through traffic will be closed
• Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible

The repair is complex and is expected to continue throughout the day. Thank you for your continued patience.

June 15, 2026

Crews are working to repair a broken water main on First Street between Neal Street and Spring Street. Westbound traffic (including the “dairy line” lane) will be affected through tomorrow morning while repairs are underway.

Repair work will continue throughout the night. Residents and businesses nearby can expect jackhammering, truck traffic, and other construction-related noise.

If you’re planning a trip to Meadowlark Dairy this evening, please consider parking nearby and walking, as traffic in the area will be significantly impacted.

We’re working as quickly as possible to complete this emergency repair and restore normal operations. Thank you for your patience while crews complete this important work.
