Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center

In order to ensure the health and safety of every Pleasanton resident and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community, the City of Pleasanton Library and Recreation Department has determined to follow the guidance of Alameda County Public Health Department's current Health Order—issued on June 5, 2020—which does not provide a sunset date for sheltering in place as previous Orders provided. Non-essential City services and facilities will be closed until further notice. For more information, and for live updates impacting our community, visit the City of Pleasanton COVID-19 Update Page.

May is National Water Safety Month!

While we can't swim at DBAC right now, we can still learn how to be safe in, on and around water. Here are some resources and activities for you and your family to learn about water safety.

The Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center (DBAC) is Pleasanton’s premier aquatic facility, featuring:

  • Areas for picnics and lounging poolside
  • Pools heated to 80 degrees, year-round
