Annual Street Resurfacing & Preventative Maintenance 

Description

The first component involves resurfacing of approximately 2,050,000 square feet of existing pavement on various streets within the City of Pleasanton with either HMA overlay or HMA overlay with pavement fabric construction method. The second component of work referred to as "Preventive Maintenance" includes full-depth HMA repair (dig-out) and crack sealing on various streets in preparation for 2,600,000 square feet of slurry-seal work that the City will construct under a separate contract. The project also includes, but is not limited to, dig-out, the installation of asphalt leveling course in various locations, wedge grinding or milling, adjusting manholes and valve boxes, etc. to grade, traffic striping and pavement legends, pavement markers, traffic signal loops, traffic control and any necessary coordination with other projects occurring within the vicinity of the project site.The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, transportation and other necessary services to complete the work in accordance with these Project Plans and Special Provisions.

Street, Parking Lot and Pathway Light Maintenance Services RFP

Description

The City of Pleasanton presently owns and maintains approximately 7,200
street, parking lot and pathway lights. The Operations Services Department
administers the current maintenance services contract for the maintenance
and emergency repair of all street light, parking lot and park pathway
lighting, and will continue to do so with the company selected to perform
work described in this RFP.

The scope of services includes maintenance services and pole and relamping
services for all City-owned Street, parking lot and park pathway lights and
Hacienda Business Park Street Lights on a per-light, per-month basis, using
contractor supplied materials to keep all lights in good working order and
condition. This does not include poles, arms, bases or underground wiring,
which will be done on an as-needed basis either by proposal from the
contractor or by work order from the City.
