The Pleasanton Police Department invites proposals to acquire a public safety software system for the purpose of replacing its current computer-aided dispatch (CAD), mobile, and records management (RMS) system. The Pleasanton Police Department is seeking an integrated solution that offers the capability to comply with existing and upcoming mandates, capture ongoing statistical data, accurately measure performance, better equip first responders with relevant information, reduce report writing time and thus free up resources, enhance internal cross-training, and to be technologically progressive.

Annual Curb & Gutter for Street Resurfacing Project

Description

**In order to be an eligible bidder, please contact the city of Pleasanton and request to be added the the plan holder list. See Notice to Bidders for more information.** The project replaces concrete in preparation for the City’s annual resurfacing program and will consist of, but is not limited to, 56 pedestrian ramps, approximately 6,500 square feet of sidewalk and driveways, approximately 425 linear feet of curb and gutter, installation of 38 glue-down ADA domes and grinding the curb lip flush and associated work. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $750,000.

On-Call Consultant to Provide Professional Land Surveying and Drafting Services

Description

The city of Pleasanton’s Engineering Department is currently seeking to contract with two (2) consultants for on-call professional land surveying and drafting services. The term of the contract will be three (3) years (2023 – 2026) with an option for two additional one-year extensions. The aggregate total contract for both consultants will be a not-to-exceed amount of $400,000. The anticipated services are for the following: • Project design and construction activities and may include, but are not limited to: o general right of way research, o boundary surveys, o land surveying, o topographic surveying, o construction staking, o preparation of legal plats, descriptions, and closure calculations, o and drafting services. • City land surveyor services pursuant to California Government Code §66416.5(c) which may include an accuracy review of the following types of documents: o Final maps o Parcel maps o Lot line adjustments o Separate instrument grants o Certificates of compliance These services will support the Engineering Department for various city capital improvement and private land development projects and tasks. This Request for Qualification (RFQ) describes the Scope of Services, the necessary components of the Statement of Qualification, the consultant selection process, and a sample copy of the Design Professional Services Agreement. This RFQ also describes the required format of the submitted Statement of Qualification.

Anticipated services may include, but are not limited to: environmental site assessments, slide and erosion analysis with repair recommendations, soil foundation investigations, geological hazardous studies, materials testing services and geotechnical engineering consultations. These services will provide support for Engineering Department for various City capital improvement and private land development related projects. The City of Pleasanton’s Community Development Department is currently seeking to retain architectural firm/s for on-call services. The term of the contract will be three (3) years (2023 – 2026), with a not to exceed, aggregate total contract amount of $500,000 on an as-needed basis and does not guarantee work. Anticipated services are for project design and construction activities and may include, but are not limited to, general consulting, peer review, architectural services, plan checking, Capital Improvement Program project design, providing architectural recommendations for emergency situations, computer or manual drafting, and other tasks associated with Public Works building design, construction, and/or operation as assigned and directed by the City Engineer.
