REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) FOR ENGINEERING FIRMS INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH THE CITY TO INVESTIGATE AND RECOMMEND IMPROVEMENTS TO KEY WATER SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES

Description

The City of Pleasanton (City) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to engineering firms interested in working with the City to investigate and make recommendations for how to address periodic nitrification in the treated water system, particularly at or near the Foothill Storage Tank. In addition, the City operates groundwater facilities to supplement treated water from the Zone 7 Water Agency (Zone 7). An assessment is needed of Well 8 for both infrastructure (building, equipment, controls) as well as operational practices, particularly chemical selection and dosing systems. Since these scopes are separate and distinct, the City requests that interested firms provide unique teams and approaches addressing each area of need separately in one composite Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). The City will decide if one or more contracts are needed after SOQ’s have been submitted and evaluated.

Replacement Edge-Lit LED IISNS (Equipment Only)

Description

Purchase of 55 total Edge-lit LED IISNS (44 - 6ft and 11 - 8ft). Wording and quantities of each sign provided in attached document. Pleasanton Traffic Engineering shall verify the wording and spelling to be used on the signs prior to ordering equipment. Edge-Lit LED SNS shall be White on a standard MUTCD Color 1177 (Green) background. All SNS lettering shall be the Series E standard lettering. Mounting Option to be underhang on mast arm. The Edge-Lit LED SNS shall be the Temple Razor Edge-Lit LED SNS. Please see attached specs and sign name list for additional information.

RFP Pleasanton Biannual Citywide Intersection Counts

Description

The City of Pleasanton conducts citywide intersection counts every two years to update our traffic modeling software. We are pleased to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to interested firms for the collection of turning movement counts at various intersections in Pleasanton in early spring 2019. The City requests AM (7 - 9) and PM (4:30 - 6:30) traffic counts at approximately 156 intersections (with additional 2 – 4 PM counts at approximately 38 of the intersections). The City accepts proposals that utilize remote review (fixed camera) approaches. Alternate traffic counting approaches may be allowed on a case-by-case basis. Vineyard Avenue Sewer Trench Repair

Description

Water Tanker Services
