Pleasanton Biannual Citywide Intersection

Description The City of Pleasanton conducts citywide intersection counts every two years to update our traffic modeling software. We are pleased to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to interested firms for the collection of turning movement counts at various intersections in Pleasanton in early spring 2017. The City requests AM (7-9AM) and PM (4:30-6:30) traffic counts at approximately 150 intersections. The City accepts proposals that utilize remote review (fixed camera) approaches. Alternate traffic counting approaches may be allowed on a case-by-case basis. For a list of intersections see the attached list. All approaches at the listed intersections should be counted. Also note that the City has identified 3 intersections have unusual conditions (i.e. more than 4 approaches, etc) that may require additional traffic counting efforts (i.e. personnel or equipment). Proposals should identify and include these, or other intersections, that need additional efforts and costs to count. Previously collected 2015 traffic count data is available for review on request, if needed. Proposals should provide details on availability of video files collected to City of Pleasanton and explain any additional costs associated. See files attached for list of requirements for the turning movement counts and examples of reporting required.

BRIDGE PAINTING: BERNAL AVENUE BRIDGE OVER ARROYO DE LA LAGUNA, CIP NO. 135025 – FED ID 5101(028)

Description Bernal Avenue Bridge at Arroyo De La Laguna (Br No. 33C-0132): The scope of work for this bridge includes cleaning and painting all steel surfaces of the existing bridge, bridge guardrail, walkway, walkway handrail, water line and 4-inch gas line casing including utility straps and supports. Species Protection and a Contractor-Supplied Biologist are required to prevent bird nesting within the work stoppage radius. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the bid items is $1,160,000.

Water Tanker Services

Description STARTING Monday 3/28/16, RFB BID PACKAGE IS AVAILIBLE IN HARD COPY ONLY FROM CITY OPERATION SERVICES CENTER @ 3333 BUSCH ROAD, PLEASANTON, 94566. PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THEIR CONTACT INFORMATION TO RECEIVE PACKET. ANSWERS TO ALL QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS RFB SHALL BE PROVIDED TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS VIA EMAIL ONLY. The City of Pleasanton is seeking proposals for transportation and delivery of reclaimed water by tanker truck within the City. Contractor shall not be responsible for the purchase of reclaimed water. All work to be performed shall be in accordance with the Special Provisions (Exhibit B), and shall be overseen by the Parks Superintendent.
