Description

 
This work shall consist of, but is not limited to, the renovation of the approximately 2,600 square foot locker rooms by removing and replacing the men and women showers with new compartmental showers, lockers, concrete slabs, toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, lights, walls, doors, HVAC unit and ducting, and skylights. The Engineer's cost estimate for the project is $1,300,000.
 
 There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled on Nov 13, 2017 and on Nov 15, 2017, between 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm at 4455 Black Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566.

RECYCLED WATER INFRASTRUCTURE EXPANSION – KEN MERCER SPORTS PARK BOOSTER STATION

Description

This project comprises the installation of a city-furnished prepackaged water booster station including yard piping, electrical, sidewalk and building pad and other associated work. The work to be done in general shall consist of, but is not limited to: • Approximately 300 linear feet of new 16-inch and 12-inch recycled water main, valves and various related appurtenances in Ken Mercer Sports Park including implementing water pollution control measures, trenching and backfill, pipeline testing, landscaping restoration and other related work. • Installation of 130 linear feet of 5-inch conduit and two #6 PG&E vaults. • Installation of a concrete building slab, sidewalk and associated grading and landscaping. • The installation and anchorage of a city-supplied prepackaged Patterson Pump skid mounted booster station and building. The project is funded through a federal grant and requires federal DBE requirements that have time sensitive requirements. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $250,000.

Softball Fieldhouse and Score Keeper’s Booth Renovation

Description

A third and final MANDATORY pre-bid meeting is scheduled for November 21, 2017, which will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. at 5800 Parkside Drive, Pleasanton, CA 94588. Attendance at only one of the three mandatory pre-bid meetings is required in order to submit a bid on this project.
This work shall consist of the remodeling the approximately 3,800 sqft Softball Fieldhouse and Score Keeper’s Booths in the Ken Mercer Sports Park. The work shall include but not limited to the removal and replacement of the exterior cladding panels with Trespa siding material, new metal roofing system, doors, windows, HVAC, interior paint, carpet, bathroom modifications and reconstruction of the four (4) score keeper’s booths and related site drainage improvements. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $592,000. A mandatory pre-bid is scheduled on November 13, 2017 and on November 15, 2017, between 10 am and 12 noon at 5800 Parkside Drive, Pleasanton, CA 94588.

Description

**City Offices will be closed on the 10th. Proposals will be accepted Thursday, November 9th or Monday, November 13.** 
The City of Pleasanton is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to civil engineering firms interested in working with the City to develop biddable plans and specifications for a parking lot and three signalized intersection improvements in the City. Each will be a stand-alone project with its own separate design proposal. It is anticipated that all four projects will begin designs over the next two years.

2017 Annual Water Main Replacement, Main Street & Santa Rita Road

Description

This work to be done shall generally consist of, but is not limited to, providing and installing approximately 3300 linear feet of new 12-inch C-900 water main, 270 linear feet of 10-inch FPVC, 110 linear feet of eight-inch DIP, fire hydrants, water service feet of 10-inch FPVC, 110 linear feet of eight-inch DIP, fire hydrants, water service connections, air release valves, sampling station, various related appurtenances including traffic control, providing and implementing water pollution control measures, and potholing operations. Project is located on Main Street, between St. Mary’s and the Main Street bridge located just north of the Pleasanton Hotel, along Santa Rita between Del Valle Parkway and Jensen Street, and on the Santa Rita frontage road, at Jensen Street and just beyond Black Avenue. The work will be impacting the Pleasanton downtown area as well as Amador High School and Alisal Elementary. The work in the downtown area has been coordinated to be completed from January to March 2018. The work shall start no later than January 15th and disturbed areas shall be restored expeditiously. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the project is approximately $2,500,000.
