The City of Pleasanton is pleased to announce that the Tri-Valley Korean American Parents’ Association is making a generous gift of Korean language materials to the library on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. On the occasion of this gift of Korean language materials to the library’s adult and children’s collections, the Pleasanton Public Library and the Tri-Valley Korean American Parents’ Association will also present a celebration of traditional and contemporary Korean culture, immediately following the ceremony until 3:00 p.m.
The HonorableConsul General of the Republic of Korea, Dongman Han, will formally present the gift of new library materials at 11:00 a.m. This will be followed in the main meeting room with examples of Korean dance, music, martial arts, and crafts. The celebration will conclude with an opportunity to sample various Korean foods, provided by the Tri-Valley Korean Parents Association and prepared by Korean Village of Pleasanton.
