  •  June 17, 6:45-7:30 p.m. — Game Night (all ages welcome)
  •  June 22, 23 & 24, 6 p.m. — Carlos Nieto III: Anime Your Way
  • June 29, 4-6 p.m. - Hip Hop Rhyme Workshop with Secret Agent 23 Skidoo (for ages 12-18)
  •  July 2 — Curb-Side Craft Kit Pick-Up
  •  July 9, 6:45-7:45 p.m. — Craft Night: Bookmarks
  • July 17, 6:30 p.m. — A Magical Night with Alex Ramon
  •  July 22, 6:45-7:30 p.m. — Game Night (all ages welcome)
  • July 23, 11:30 a.m.  Virtual Author Visit - New York Times Best-Selling Author Nikki Grimes, live from Chino Hills State Park, will read a selection from Southwest Sunrise and take questions from youths and librarians. 



 Enjoy weekly Summer Storytime with California's First Partner and Friends, brought to you by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, California State Library, and First 5 California.

 The First Partner’s Summer Book Club features 23 books hand-picked by the First Partner for children ages 3-12. Each book teaches kids important social and emotional learning tools and highlights key values like diversity, self-love and acceptance. Click here to see availability of these titles at Pleasanton Library.

 Entry Rules:

  •  No bigger than an 8.5x11” paper
  •  Submission done by hand
  •  Any book cover of your choosing
  •  Entries can be submitted until August 8.
