The City of Pleasanton, in partnership with Visit Tri-Valley, launched To Pleasanton with Love, a Tri-Valley Local Recovery Campaign to encourage residents to rediscover Pleasanton and promise to spend $25 on top of what they normally spend at local businesses. The campaign features a Promise Pass that offers access to exclusive discounts at nearly 100 businesses in the Tri-Valley, including over 35 in Pleasanton. Participating Promise Pass businesses include restaurants, retail shops, spas & salons, bars, hotels, activities, services and specialty stores... and it's FREE to anyone, works on all mobile phones, and doesn’t require the download of an additional app. For more information and to make the Pleasanton Promise, visit www.ToPleasantonWithLove.com.
In partnership with the City of Pleasanton, the Pleasanton Downtown Association presents Shop Small, Support Local – a campaign to encourage the Pleasanton community to shop, dine and visit local this holiday season. The campaign emphasizes the importance of supporting small businesses, especially now as many business sectors are open with limited capacity restrictions, and as the holiday season nears. Visit www.pleasantondowntown.net/shopsmall for a list of participating downtown businesses.
To support Pleasanton businesses, the City has partnered with Bludot to create a PLEASANTON OPEN FOR BUSINESS interactive listing with mapping features. Are you a business interested in being included on the list? See the website HERE and click on +List My Business. Once your profile is active, you can customize it with business information, specials, business hours, and more. Want to show your support and post the Support Local image at your business? Download HERE and print.
If you are refraining from shopping in-store or dining outdoors and would like to support a Pleasanton business listed, please consider online shopping for curbside pick-up, ordering takeout, or purchasing a gift card to support now and use later.
First, prioritize and take all health and safety precautions for yourself, your family, and others in our community. Our community health as a whole depends on working together, and our small businesses are vital to the City of Pleasanton’s economy. We want to ensure that they stay successful while maintaining appropriate public health safety measures. If you are not able to visit stores and restaurants physically, there are several ways you can support them:
Pleasanton is an extraordinary place for shopping and dining with a historic downtown and regional shopping mall for residents and visitors. During the Shelter in Place Order, we encourage you to visit inPleasanton.com to find store and restaurant directories so you may contact them directly to order gift cards, shop online, and order food for pick-up or delivery. Essential businesses and restaurants have special operating days and hours during COVID-19. We hope that you will support Pleasanton businesses that are still open. To stay in touch, follow inPleasanton.com on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Looking for a list of local restaurants currently open during the Shelter in Place Order? Tri-Valley To Go provides lists of local businesses, restaurants, breweries, and wineries with adjusted operation hours, take-out menus, pick-up schedules, and delivery options who rely on spending to keep their doors open and provide for their families.
