Adaptive Programs / Recreation for Adults with Developmental Disabilities

The City of Pleasanton currently offers adaptive recreational opportunities through the Adapted Aquatics Program and the Recreation for Adults with Developmental Disabilities (RADD) Program.

RADD is a special recreation program designed for people ages 15 and above with developmental disabilities. RADD’s mission is to provide equal opportunity for personal growth for individuals with developmental disabilities through recreational activities and community involvement.

RADD activities include:

  • Breakfast at local restaurants
  • Dances
  • Dinner and Movie
  • Dinner and Concert at the Lion’s Wayside Park
  • Hometown Holiday Parade    
  • Pool Party at the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center
  • Much, much, more!
