Welcome to the Pleasanton Police Department website.  We are dedicated to serve our community and make it a better place to live.

This ON THE BEAT Pleasanton webcast is an exciting new way to enhance communication between the police department and Pleasanton residents. ON THE BEAT will provide current on significant criminal cases, arrests, special events, and offers crime prevention tips to help keep Pleasanton safe. We will post new episodes of ON THE BEAT at www.pleasantonPD.org and on the department's Facebook page.

The Pleasanton Police Department is conducting a survey to learn how we can better serve our community. The survey will take approximately 3-5 minutes. Your responses are anonymous and will be kept confidential. All responses will be compiled together and analyzed as a group.

Thank you for your participation and for letting your voice be heard.

On-Line Reporting

The Pleasanton Police Department has on-line reporting available for many minor offenses where there are no known suspects.  Please click here to access this feature.

On-line complaints can also be made for Animal Services, Traffic issues and to report Drug activity.

We have also launched our own local TIP LINE and encourage community members to call us at (925) 931-5252 with crime tips.  Information provided on this phone line can be given anonymously.
