The Housing Commission advises the City Council on both the affordable housing needs of the community and the methods for meeting these needs.  

The Housing Commission reviews potential affordable housing projects, provides input on policies regarding affordable housing, and promotes community education and awareness of affordable housing programs.

• Housing Commission meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month.

How to Join the Housing Commission

The City has established guidelines for the appointment of members to City commissions, which are set forth in a resolution and included in Section VI City Commission Related Resolutions of this handbook.
