Youth Commission

The City of Pleasanton Youth Commission:

  • Acts as a liaison between Pleasanton's youth community and the City Council
  • Advises the Council on youth-related issues
  • Promotes an understanding and appreciation of community affairs among the youth of Pleasanton

Commission Meetings

  • The Youth Commission meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. (summer recess in June, July and August). Meetings are open to the public and take place at the Operations Service Center, located at 3333 Busch Road.

Joining the Commission

  • Develop your leadership skills and participate in the government process through the City’s Youth Commission, an advisory body to the City Council.
  • Learn about City Council, city government and the school district.
  • Participate in the annual Youth in Government Day-a partnership between the City and the Pleasanton Unified School District.
