  • The Pleasanton Senior Center is currently closed to the public due to COVID-19 restrictions. During the site closure, we are continuing to offer transportation (70+) for grocery and medical appointments, senior lunch curbside to-go meals (60+), Friendly Calls and a variety of virtual programs. You can find more information in the current issue of the Senior Center newsletter the EDGE!
  • Friendly Calls: We want to have a friendly conversation and do a wellness check to make sure you are doing okay.  If you would like to receive a call, please sign up by calling (925) 931-5365.

Senior Nutrition

*Effective 3/12/20: Only curb side TO-GO meals are available. Reservations are still needed. Please call (925) 500-8241 for more information.

Enjoy a nutritious lunch, provided by Open Heart Kitchen, in cooperation with the Area Agency on Ageing of Alameda County, and the City of Pleasanton, served curb side Monday-Friday from 11:45 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Please call  (925) 500-8241 by 1 p.m. the day before you would like to visit to make a reservation. One percent milk served daily.

Spectrum Community Services Inc. (Meals on Wheels): Senior Meals are for anyone in the community 60+ years old.  An annual registration is required along with an advanced reservation at the distribution site.  For each meal, a $3.75 contribution is requested.  Call (925) 931-5385 for more information.

Virtual Programs

Tuesday Talks with Friends:  Join the Friends of Pleasanton Senior Center for a weekly themed virtual chat.  Some weeks include special guests.  To sign up, CLICK HERE.

Personal Technology User Group (PTUG):  PTUG is for all computer enthusiasts.  The monthly virtual session takes place on the 4th Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. - Noon and includes discussions, lectures, demonstrations, and a question/answer period.  If interested in joining, please send an email to: pleasenior@gmail.com.

      • Provides emergency, one time grants or loans in nominal amounts to adults age 60 and above in extreme need of financial assistance.
