Senior Transportation


Transportation Tickets Available at the

Pleasanton Senior Center

(Effective December 22, 2011)

There are several transportation options for seniors that don’t involve driving a car.  To find out more information on any of the following topics, click on the links below.

The City is pleased to offer transportation service for Pleasanton and Sunol residents 70 years and older or persons between 18 and 69 years that are ADA qualified

Wheels Dial-A-Ride :  Wheels Dial-A-Ride provides all day paratransit service in Dublin and Livermore.  Wheels Dial-A-Ride service is expanded to serve ADA-eligible riders in Pleasanton when the City of Pleasanton service is not operating.  The service includes all portions of these communities within 3/4 mile of a Wheels fixed route.   

Seniors and People With Disabilities Using BART:  Contact ClipperCard Customer Service at 877-878-8883 to find out how to obtain your Senior/Disabled discount or go to

511 Paratransit:  From anywhere in the Bay Area, you can call 511 to get free transportation information.  The system uses voice recognition, which allows you to connect to various agencies.  For example, information is available on BART (i.e., elevator status, fares, etc.), Paratransit, Muni, AC Transit, the local airport, and traffic conditions.
